Thankful Thursday - Summer Blessings
With summer nearing its end, I reflect and have much to be thankful for...
I'm thankful for the four children I've spent so much time with.
I'm thankful for sunshine. I'm a sunshine fanatic, you know!
I'm thankful for vacation Bible school that enriched my kids lives.
I'm thankful for my husband who spent so much time with us when he wasn't at work.
I'm thankful for the new deck that I've been waiting years to get.
I'm thankful for the beautiful day we had today. The sky was clear blue, a breeze was blowing, and I had Crystal Siemens new CD to listen to in the car. It was a perfect day.
I'm thankful that my blogging friends have been patient with my summer schedule, since I was absent more than not.
I'm thankful for Iris who is hosting Thankful Thursday, and who puts so much of her time into this meme.

I have been always 'peeking' in my inbox checking if you have posted on your blog...but you know what? I totally understand that you have been spending much time with your kiddos this summer. You are always so busy...it was good for you and your family.
I am a sunshine girl too, but 110F for the entire summer is a little too hot to do anything outside -- looking forward to the fall.
Yeah - Crystal CD is awesome.

What a wonderful thankful list! It's a great reminder of all the things we've done this summer. Spending so much time with my kids and hubby is a blessing. I'm a sunshine girl too. And my older boy was so blessed by VBS! I'm looking forward to being able to send the younger boy next year too. Have a wonderful and blessed week ahead. Thank you for sharing your list!!

I'm glad you had a great summer with your family.I always work better on a set schedule so I am usually glad when school gets back in and routine starts again.

Wonderful! I love the sunshine as well. I have been spending so much time at our camp...with hundreds of kids and people but I LOVE spending time with my son, hubby and grandbaby! My treasures!

I love the summer's end cause fall is my favorite time of year. I love the sunshine but don't like the hot,humid,sticky,can't breathe,heat of our summers. :) Glad you got your deck...it took us many years to get one too. Love it! I totally understand the summer schedule. Busy! Blessings on your day girl!
It's hard to beleive it is the end of summer! But I am hoping for more blog time as things settle down.
