On Again--Off Again

I feel a need to express myself. Why? I have no idea! :) I get the guilties when I don't blog. Do other bloggers get this too? I feel like I'm dating all of you, and if I don't phone every day you'll break up with me. lol

This blogging relationship has been on again--off again for about three years now, and lately it's been off again, but I'm still here.

We're finally getting some warm weather, so the kids are getting invitations like crazy--pool parties, field trips, and birthdays. I want to enjoy these moments with them, but I'm still around.

Nathaniel has a full day off of school, so he's watching Dora right now, and has asked if it's lunchtime yet about 20 times. I passed him a bag of munchie mix, and made a date to go to a pool today--hopefully that will suffice.

If I start typing "I'm a map, I'm a map" or "Go Diego go," you'll understand why as it's hard to concentrate with Dora in one ear. Ok, a penguin just said, "I can't wait to see my baby"--too cute.

I know one day I'll have more time to blog, but then I'll miss being a mommy...

When the time comes that you have more time to blog you will only have your memories of your babies being babies...they grow up too soon...watch Dora, catch mice in your kitchen and knock before entering the bathroom...and blog when you have time!

It's too nice outside to be sitting at a computer...hmmm...you need a wireless card for your laptop (the one on your Christmas list). Then you'll be all set.

Sweetie - although I miss you being around I totally understand you need to spend time with your kiddos - they grow up way to fast!!!!

I am just popping in to let you know that you are in my prayers every.single.day...

BTW - just listened to your interview on CWO - I don't know why I always start to tear up when I hear that women are starting a relationship with Him because of your on-line resource. I am glad that you listened to His call over a year ago and started CWO. You have changed the on-line community forever!!!!

Much love and many hugs to you and your family.

Well I miss you for entirely different reason...I can't get to your blog from my home computer again.....and not to the internet cafe either....so I have to visit you while I am at work!
Totally understand what you are going through, balance is key and it sounds like you have your priorities straight!
Blessings

Dear Darlene,

I so agree with your post. I am newer to blogging but not new to writing, the internet or being a Mom..LOL I love your blog but totally understand I am there myself with my little one and being a Mom is the most important to me. Family is first we will all be able to pop over once in awhile when you have time. Summer is so fun isn't it? I know all about Dora etc too and find myself saying " oh bother as winnie the Pooh would say or ...my name is Ned I don't like my little bed...Oh boy...LOL No I am not crazy I am a Mom...

Smiles and Blessings,

Angel ( Angel Mama )

.... I'll wait for you Darlene! However long it takes! ;o)

I'm glad that you are having a blast with the kiddos. I too have been guilty of blog neglect, but that is better than child neglect!

Have fun!!

I "found" your blog through my sis-in-law, Mrs. Diamond. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit, joined the blog ring and am laughing about Dora and Diego. Oh, how I can relate. It is nice to see some sunshine...sunny Manitoba has been ridiculously wet. Enjoy the pool!

Hey there. Just popping over from Rachelle's blog. Cute post! I get that way too. The laundry screams "you need to take a break from blogging", while I say... "but I'll miss my blog friends".
